Potpourri

What-pourri?

Traditionally, this event has always been an eclectic fusion of dumb charades, pictionary, tinto (a modification of twenty questions) and other such wacky games the coordinators come up with.


Format


The event will consist of a prelims and a finals.

Potpourri prelims at Saarang has always been a crowd puller, having lasted upto eight hours. Tradition has always dictated some good old dumb charades or pictionary for the prelims. Of course, there might be a screening written round if there are too many teams to handle.

1. 3 members per team

2. Cross college teams allowed

3. No pre-registration required


FAQts


Q) Will it be plain Picto+DumbC+Tinto this Saarang too?
A : No, not at all. You can expect a very different potpourri this Saarang. Of course, there will be a good deal of the traditional Potpourri too.

Q) Can I split words ? (wrt to DumbC or Picto)
A : Nope. You can't get "Angel", and then get "Angelina Jolie.

Q) Can I do 'sounds like'? (wrt to DumbC or Picto)
A : No! You can't act out 'carry' to get Jim Carrey.

Q) Can I jump around on stage, and act like a monkey?
A : You are free to do whatever pleases you, as long as you stick by the rules for that round.
