Arts and Crafts

A thing of beauty is a joy forever, and creating a thing of beauty is even more of a joy. There’s nothing like putting together the perfect painting, or pummelling a piece of clay into a shape that’s jaw-dropping. The thing about Art is that it can take on so many forms, and we at Saarang realize that. Which is why we have such a line-up of Fine Arts events, spread over all 4 days, with two sessions each day. And just to show we’re not only about Arts, we also have a brand new event this year, which will test not how much you can create will all materials at your disposal, but how much you can create from junk! Add to this the workshops on a range of things from Garment designing to Plaster-of-Paris carving, and you can see that this Saarang has enough going on to keep the artistically inclined occupied through the day.

Fine Arts – A broad classification for a total of 8 events that take place over all 4 days of Saarang. Please check the links on the sidebar for details about individual events and timings.

Workshops – Get in and get your hands dirty, the Crafts workshops will give a whole new definition to the term Hands-On. Watch out for updates on the various workshops being planned, there’s a lot more planned than the couple mentioned above.
